This past week has been pretty mellow; but I think we packed in more on Saturday than the whole week combined. Of course Boston woke us up bright and early at 6am! He has an internal alarm clock that just can not sleep past 6:30 and if Mom's home we
might as well get up early right! I had slept horribly the night before with heartburn, itchy feet and the trips to the bathroom that never seemed to end. 6am came way too soon; but JT was sweet and snuck outside with Boston after breakfast so I could snooze a bit more. When they came back in JT said they had good news and bad news. The bad news was Boston fell out of the car! (no it was not moving luckily!) The good news was Boston and Daddy had been out washing the cars and they had some super cute pictures to show off! I love how JT thinks creatively with Boston. They do the cutest things together that I would never think of. When I think wash the car, I think you pull
through the car wash and Boston thinks it's cool with all the soap and water coming down on the windows. JT thinks conservatively, buys a summers worth of soap and water for $6 at Walmart and puts Boston to work! They had so much fun and I was more than happy to lay my pregnant body on the couch and catch some much needed zzzz's. As soon as they came in we got ready to go
swimming at the clubhouse with the Activity Day girls in our ward. I was in charge of the activity, and ofcourse had done very little planning. I sent JT to go get some popsicles for the girls and we headed to the pool. Boston had a blast!! He loved splashing and swirling in the water and jumping to me from the side. It was so cute to watch him and made me realize I need to take him as much as possible before Jocey comes because I don't think I can have two in the water by myself. Plus, I love it because for a moment in time I feel
weightless in this ever growing gaining almost a pound a week body!Boston was so tired and hungry after swimming. He scarfed down a whole individual pizza and
napped until 3pm. I napped a bit more too. I do a lot of that these days! When he woke up we immediately headed down to Orem to meet Grandma Mary and very pregnant (1 week out ) aunt Kel at Chucky Cheese! (I know most of you think it is White trash.. but Boston LOVES it, the Orem one is cleaner, and Whitney McKell I wouldn't exactly call Classic Skating or Lagoon "High Class." so ha!) He was so excited the moment we walked in the door. He leaped from my arms and headed to all the different cars first! He loved playing the hit the duck game and just anything he could ride on
and push buttons and turn steering wheels. Grandma was so cute with him and he
had an absolute blast. He even figured out how to put the tokens in by himself. He walked out having won enough tickets to buy a lick and dip powdered candy treat, some goofy glasses, a sucker and a plastic spider. If that wasn't enough, we headed to McDonalds to get some chicken nuggets, since he had just had pizza for lunch. We were both exhausted by the time we got home but it was a really fun Saturday!

It is fun and interesting to see how differently each parent thinks and plans every situation. It makes things more fun that way. By the way, my kids always liked Chucky Cheese!
Carly,
Sounds like a great weekend. My kids love chuck-e-cheese, but Lewis thinks its the anit-christ, so we don't frequent it too often.
Sounds like a fun Saturday. I'm glad you got some rest in there too. I don't know how you keep up with it all:)
Carly,
What a crazy Saturday!!!
Boston is lucky to have you as a mother. You are so good with him.
I don't think it is possible for you to gain a pound a week...
Love ya!
Busy Saturday!! Sounds like you had so much fun!!
