We've been up to what feels like a whole lot of Nothing lately. Not, that we don't do anything, ( I seem to always be running somewhere) but so much of it is the same old routine. Our camera charger cord has also gone MIA which has prevented us from taking any pictures besides a few on JT's phone. Nevertheless, in order to prevent becoming a Bad Blogger, I figured I jot down a few of our March Happening's.
JT: Has been sick for nearly 3 weeks. I feel terrible for him, I really do, and I'm not the sympathetic type. And to be completely honest, I feel more sorry for me because I can't have a conversation with him without that awful cough interrupting and nights are so bad that even if I send him downstairs to sleep I can hear him through the vents! Please, my darling, get to the Doctor today! He's done far less biking than he'd like, trips to the gym have been cut short due to all the hacking, and I don't think he's seen a single day on the golf course with all this lovely weather we have had. But, he continues to be the best husband and Daddy a girl could ask for!
Boston: Continues to be very busy. With 2 pre-schools, sessions at Autism Journey's and soccer. He has been really into pre-tend play lately. So I hear, 'Do you want to play school, bad guys, little gym, Tigger and Pooh, etc. etc. Mom?" (how could I ever tell him No!) Soccer, we've had some good weeks, and some really really bad weeks, but I'll chalk it all up to experience. And this boy says the funniest things! Here's a few..
He always wants to play "activities" a sure sign he has been in too much therapy. It's always the rule that we do our "activities" before moving on to other things.
He is TERRIFIED of "Doctor Forevan" a Dr. on Curious George. I can get him to do Anything by saying if you don't do ___ I'll have to call Dr. Forevan.
He kept talking about "Hatchie" the dog. Who I found out "lives in Heaven" because "he got bad owies and died" Who is "little" and "black and white." The other day JT noticed a movie at RedBox called Hatchie about a dog! I have no idea where he found out about it from, I don't think he has seen it, but "Hatchie" has basically become a member of the family.
He still wants a "Gella" (it's a robot.. I have NO idea where he got "Gella" from..but he wants one..badley!" Every time we go to McDonald's or he sees a present he says "It's gonna be a Gella!" I feel bad every time he is disappointed! He'll be getting some type of "Gella" for his Birthday.. that is certain.
Jocelyn: Wow.. this girl is the definition of stubborn.. and sweetness. I love her kisses and hugs and the screaming.. oh how the screaming sends me to the nuthouse.. but we love her. We love her endless dancing, her Obsession with ice, and her smile that can capture anyone's heart. We dread, the constantly running nose, the messes every other second, and the sleepless nights. But, am proud to announce that she has slept through the night the past 4 nights! (We're talking like 8pm to 4am here not anything blissful like 7 to 7. Not my girl, but I'll take it.) She has a Very Limited vocab, but can be heard saying,
"Uh Oh"
"uh Huh"
"ice"
"eggs"
"this"
"that"
and the sign for "more"
Carly: These are my days, 5-9am I have the best job in the world on 101.5 the Eagle! 9am to about 2pm we live in the car running Boston to this or that. 2pm - 4pm I beg the kids to nap and when that doesn't happen we paint, and eat, and play pre-tend, and play games, and make a huge mess of the house. 4pm-5:30 the kids watch t.v. and then eat dinner while I scramble to pick up the house and make it look like I did Something during the day, while whipping out one of my gazillion cookbooks and making a disaster of the kitchen, usually with marginal results on the dinner table. 6pm.. Daddy comes home, kids in tub, dancing, singing, story time and by 8pm all are in bed. JT and I skim through American Idol or Dancing with the Stars (whatever I have to watch for show prep) We might sneak out into our beloved hot tub, and then JT tucks me in and stays up endless hours doing homework.. and we do that same thing pretty much every day.

that doesn't sound like a whole lotta nothin'! You are seriously the best mom. I tell my kids no way too much when they ask to play. You are an inspiration to me to be better, I know one day I'll have a lot of regrets if I don't.
I agree with Maria you busy momma! I love hearing about your cute kiddoes! I hope JT gets feeling better that is awful. I am proud of you for letting Boson play soccer it is so good for him. Our little girls Carly..they are so similar in their stubborness. It is so funny. We really need to have them play more..I am bad at calling!
You are amazing! Love your posts. Yay for sleeping through the night. What a relief! Hopefully she decides that sleep is a good thing...maybe you guys will now change your mind and have a third! :)
Love you!
I agree with Maria it doesn't sound like nothing! You guys are always going. I can't wait to see little Jocey she always seems like she has changed so much each time I see her. And Jack can't wait to see Boston, he keeps asking me when the Easter Bunny is coming and Boston! Love you guys!
Never forget, there is nothing more important in the world than being a mother and that includes everything you do everyday for Boston and Jocie! Including all the holes you have worn in your levis playing on the floor with them. Many mothers just don't do that! By the way, Kelli read an article recently and the averge vocabulary for an 18 month old is 16 words. So Jocie is right on track. Soon you will be wishing she didn't talk back to you! Take care, MAY
Wow you are busy! I'm so into DWTS! Who do you love?
