We've been keeping ourselves busy as usual lately. I swear Jocelyn spends half her life in the car seat; but I've decided that's okay because when she's not buckled in or in my arms you will find her on her head!! That's right, she grinds her head into the ground and sticks her butt up in the air. I'm not sure what the point of it is, but she is always doing it so it must be loads of fun! She is also working on sitting, but likes it more when she has a little support (like an open ottoman!) she is also getting up on her hands and knees so I know my days are numbered before she will be on the move! Our little princess has also chowed down on various baby foods and is always determined to feed herself, which makes for a tremendous mess! So far she hasn't rejected anything, but I try and pick out the ones that look good to me, so she hasn't had peas or beans yet (yuck!)She is also kind of sort of sleeping better. She only wakes up once or twice but she usually has a very hard time going back to sleep so JT and I are still exhausted and find ourselves nodding off in very strange places (like Smith's parking lot!) Bottom line, Jocelyn is spoile
Boston always keeps us on our toes. He talk talk talk talk talks all day long. (It's hard to remember all those months he didn't talk; although he has NEVER been quiet!) His favorite thing in the world is the car wash. Several times a day I hear wash cars? wash cars? He is a George Fanatic again; and especially loves the episode about the gophers. We are starting to talk "potty" and he has had a few success going "Stink Yuck" but the last few days all I've heard is "no potty" "buh-bye potty!" So I think we have a long road ahead of us! Boston also loves farm animals right now, especially horses. My Dad got him into them and he loves anything that has to do with a farm. He loves to
call my Dad on the phone and talk about horses and cows and we wish my parents lived closer because he misses them so much. We've also decided to enroll
Boston in Autism Journey's therapy program. It's beyond expensive, but we have very kind parents, and it seems to be the best choice out there. I think we will see him go very far. He's our smarty pants, he just needs to learn a few social skills! He does love our neighbors Caleb and Emma though and he loves his cousin Jack; he would play with them all day if he could!I've also learned the best way to get kids to smile for pictures... I forgot how magical the words "say cheese!" are!

Carly,
It was so good to see you this weekend. I just miss my best friend so much. I don't know how to describe it really...you are just family to me. I love you!
Hopefully we will get to see you guys again soon.
That's so funny how Jocelyn puts her head on the floor! Great pictures!
I totally know the exact episodes of Curious George you are talking about! And I LOVE Boston's "say cheese" smile and Jocelyn standing on her head. It made me laugh when you said Boston loves car washes because both of my kids scream and cry any time we go through one, so our car is dirty a lot. We should get together again sometime soon!
Great pictures and I was glad to get some new updates. Jocey is growing into a little girl wow, she looks so grown up in the photos, her smile is so darling.
Jack saw a little boy at the park a few days ago and went running towards him yelling "BA" (Boston)He was shocked when the kid ran right past him with no expression. So I too think Jack would love to have Boston closer, I guess we will keep wishing.
What fun pictures! I'm impressed that she can get her head down and bum up if she hasn't mastered sitting yet! Maybe she'll be a contortionist! What the heck is Boston playing with in that last picture?
Cambree does that same thing with her head down and her butt in the air. We always say she is doing her yoga...How cute are your kids? I love the pics!
Such cute pictures. Boston's smile is priceless. The cheesiest are the best!
