We have been through a lot lately and I wanted to take a second to publicly thank my wife for all she does for our family. Carly wakes up early every morning to do traffic on the radio, she makes sure that the house stays clean, that Boston gets to his school Monday-Friday and that he stays busy throughout the day, that Jocelyn get the attention and nutrition that she needs, she puts up with my crap, and still finds time to be an amazing cook and have dinner ready every night. The thing that really impresses me about my wife is how she is able to keep one foot in front of the other and keeps moving forward. She has an incredible drive and when she says that she will accomplish something, she does. Her determination is unwavering and when she sets a goal, nothing can get in her way to stop her. She has added this trait to my life and I know that I will be more successful in life and as a father because of her.
She deserves to be held on a pedestal for being an amazing mother to both Boston and Jocelyn. They are lucky to have her as a mother and I know that she would do anything for them.
As part of the New Year(resolution), I'm going to start being a better husband to Carly. We've been married for 7 years in May. I've let a lot slip since we were dating. If family/friends/neighbors don't see me opening the car door for her, helping her in with kids, taking her on more dates, relieving her stress more, feel free to kick me in the butt and call me on it. I know for me I fall into the the husband pitfall. When we were dating I would do all possible to impress her. I would do cute things for her all the time, I would open doors, and go the extra mile. I'm not saying that I don't do anything to help out but I could do more for her and to let her know how much I appreciate all she does for our family.
I hope she knows how much I love her and that I notice all the little things that she does for this family and how hard she works. I promise that I will bring her more peace and ease to her in 2009!

That was sweet! Carly is very good at setting goals and achieving them. She is a good mom and I am sure wife you are lucky to have her, who knows she could have married Maculy Culkin sp? JUst kidding!

Oh JT really this brought tears to my eyes. Carly is amazing and she is one lucky gal to have a hubby that puts her on the pedastal she deserves. Pat both yourselves on the back. You both do an amazing job as parents and spouses. TOO CUTE!

First of all, I won't let J read this and see how together and how much Carly gets accomplished each day and the wonderful mommy she is cause it'll make me look bad :), second of all...how wonderful are both of you?!?!
