Funny Kid

I know I've mentioned Boston's ever growing love for Curious George, but I have to tell you it's gone to all extremes. You see George does everything Boston doesn't want to do these days. He get's his diaper changed, get's dressed, does listening, sits at the table, washes his hands, etc. etc. etc. Well, last night Boston comes running out of the bathroom in a full panic. Jt said Boston had suddenly pulled the plug on his tubby time and demanded out. ( I was on the phone with my Mom, but I couldn't ignore the urgency of ...) "Where's George? Where's George?" I told Boston that he was downstairs to which he replied, "Pleasa" so I retrieve George and we try to get a diaper on Boston immediately. ( one peeing dog in the house is enough, I don't need a kid doing the same thing.) The entire time we are getting his diaper and pj's on he's making this "zzz zzz zzz" sound. But, Boston makes a lot of strange sounds so I think nothing of it. As soon as we are done he and George high tail it into the bathroom where JT has just finished cutting his hair. Boston begins frantically searching for something in the cupboards, all the while making this "zzz zzz zz" sound. And then it dawns on us. The hair clippers make a "zzz zzzz zzz " sound. So we get them out and Boston immediately instructs us to cut George's hair. We even have to use the "purple" "yellow" "orange" and "blue" attatchments. And after George looks as sharp as can be Boston intructs us to get out the "nose hairs" to clip George's nose hairs. After grooming George Boston finally decided he could settle into sleep ( well after about 10 rounds of playing "spectacular spiderman" on his musical toothbrush.) Boston was up at 5am this morning. I finally decided to be nice at 6 and get him out of his crib. ( He had been saying "uh oh" for an hour.) and do you know what that "uh oh" was about? Apparently George's hair and his nose hairs had grown back over night because we had to go through the entire grooming process all over again this morning. I know being his Momma I'm prejudiced, but how can you not LOVE this kid. He's the greatest thing that's ever happened to us... oh and his kid sister too!! She's pretty cute herself! ( pictures to come)

Boston Tiger Young has the most patient, loving and devoted mother on the earth and China! Carly, you amaze me with you consistent approach to Boston's special needs, all while caring for little miss Jocelyn too(who gets cuter every day!) I know there are plenty of times when you laugh and feel like crying! J.T., Boston is so fortunate to have a father who loves him unconditionally and helps at home as much as possible while working to provide for your family. I know it is very hard at times, but what a blessing to have angels in your home.

Love and admire you,
MOM
