I never thought I would be struggling to keep up with a two year olds schedule. But, between 2 days of preschool and 3 days of therapy plus a speech/play therapist that comes to our house every other week, and occupational therapy evaluations and physical therapy evaluations we are always on the go. It's working though, and I can't seem to brag enough about my little man. He amazes me how dang smart he is. He knows and recognizes his entire alphabet, he knows 0-10, several shapes, and a few colors; plus he now says over 80 words! He looks me in the eye more, notices his environment more, and throws less tantrums. I am definately an advocate for early intervention.
He said the cutest thing during sacrament meeting yesterday. I've been working with him on combining two words and using the word please to get what he wants. After the bread came around during sacrament he took one piece and then looked at Mike Wankier and said "more...please......please!!" so so cute.
Boston's been really into cracking eggs lately so I've been baking much more frequently! It's been teaching him to count though "I'd say 1,2,3.. go" and then we crack the egg. He now says "Bo.. two..bee..go!" ( don't know why he can't say "one" and those th sounds are hard, but so cute.) Sometimes he gets really anxious to say go though so it comes out "Bo..go!" or "Bee...Go" or "Bo..two..Go!" He thinks it's the coolest thing in the world to crack an egg!!
Boston has also become good friends with the witch I had out during Halloween. He used to be Terrified of her and wouldn't even let me go by her, but Mckell his speech therapist helped him to make friends with her and now he won't let me put her away. He hands her to us all day saying "More.. please!" "ee-ee-ee-ee"
Boston has also become a little crazed with Wall-E. It's the first thing we hear when we get him out of bed in the morning and the last thing we hear at night. "Wall-E, Wall-e, Wall-E!!" He knows how to run our DVD players and starts his own movies all the time. The other day he wanted to watch Wall-E and I thought he should do something more productive. I told him a few times, "No Wall-E" I was busy with Jocelyn for a minute and the next thing I know he is sitting on the couch and the movie is starting and he turns to me and says with a huge smile "Wall-E!" I told JT, I am counting on Boston to make us the big bucks! He's just too smart.
As for the little Miss... she is a beyond rotten sleeper. She has bags at three months. She amazes me with how she keeps going on so little sleep. She simply doesn't want to miss a thing. My pediatrician says she can cry it out at 4 months and I fully plan to impliment this. I simply can't take the exhaustion anymore and neither can she. She is such a little princess. She LOVES to talk talk talk and coos and goos all the time. I love it. She is also getting into toys and will actually let me put her down for 20-30 min once in a while so she can bat at her kick and crawl danglies. I love her big smile, elf like ears, double chin, and little outie belly button. She is my dolly, my pumpkin and I kiss those squishy cheeks all day long. Oh how I love that little girl.
So we are off to St. George this week. Our parents spoiled us rotten with a combined effort in purchasing us tickets to fly to St. George so we don't have to deal with the screamer for over 5 hours. We are blessed.. very very blessed. Happy Thanksgiving!

I miss seeing Boston. I cant believe how much he is talking. Bring him over soon.
Smart little guy. That is so great that he can start his own movie!
I don't think Josh would even try to start a movie. He wouldn't have the first idea. Your family is darling. Have a great Thanksgiving!
Oh Carly you are such a cute little mommy. Your schedule is crazy but you never show that. You always seem so upbeat...I am hoping and praying for you to get some more sleepy nights soon. You will have to let me know how the crying it out works. Good for Boston saying all those words, he is getting so big!
Can't wait to see you guys this week. And for Boston to show us all of his new things, and to see Jocelyn's cute little elf like ears.
