Treasuring the Moments

We've had a pretty simple week and sometimes weeks like that are really nice. It certainly doesn't seem like Spring here in the Salt Lake Valley, making me wish even more that JT would get a lucritive job offer in Sunny St. George. Then I go down to our almost finished basement and find myself thinking "there's no place like home."
Boston and I had a lot of fun just milling around the house and sneaking outside whenever the temp. peaked above 50. One afternoon I was frustrated by the cold and decided to take Boston over to Carl's Jr. for a fry and a drink. We were almost the only ones there and I bet I'm one of the only Mom's out there who is willing and able to play on the jungle gym with her kid. (especially with my ever growing pregnant belly it can be hard to manuver in the small spaces; but I'm Boston's best friend and he wants me to join him so bad. I figure God made me 5'1" for a reason and I don't feel guilty when the sign says kids 12 and under can play because I guarantee you there are 12 year old boys and maybe even girls who are much bigger than me!) We had a ton of fun and I got Boston back for making me climb to the top by sending him down a really big slide several times .. a bit against his will!!
On Friday Boston's Grandma Young (a.k.a. my Mother in-law) spoiled us rotten by coming up and taking us to South Towne Mall to baby shop for Jocelyn. Wow.. the world of little girls clothes and accesories is a big one and I had an absolute blast. I feel soooooo blessed to have a sweet boy and now a sweet girl on the way. It's so fun to be able to shop for both and my Mother in-law went a bit overboard on the shopping spree... but she'll have a very well dressed granddaughter to show for it! We ate pizza at the eatery and then took Boston to ride the carousel. He was very leary at first but once the ride started he never wanted it to stop and he was a bit upset when we made him get off. I also bought him a glass piggy bank (what was I thinking?) and he loves it.
Saturday morning JT took his little golfer to the Golf Expo and they had such a good time. Boston loved picking up golf balls and putting them in the holes. They even let him putt around a little bit. He came home with the biggest smile on his face.
Sunday Boston almost made it through nursery until he fell asleep on the floor 15 minutes before it was over!! We hung out at the house in the afternoon and Boston learned how much fun Dad's hat can be! Here's some cute bath pics.. where he also demonstrates how much he loves to put things on his head these days! And here's a video of him laughing at the always lovable.. never get tired of it.. Curious George! ( I know I get the worst parent award for letting him eat his meals infront of the TV... I can see all of you waving your fingers at me.. but we all need a break once in awhile!)

I can just hear Bostons cute chuckle when I see those pictures. That is the best thing about Boston, I love to hear him laugh. I can't wait to see all of your cute girly things you guys bought. So... fun. Well if things go according to plan, the next one will be a girl and you can just pass all of the cute things down to us. Just kidding. I feel so bad I was hoping that I would have the girl first so I could pass down stuff, sorry. We love you guys and I'm glad you got your phone unlocked. sorry, by the way what was the pass word?

Carly,

Don't worry about my birthday. I think I forgot to call you on yours this year too. You are still my best friend in the world. I love you more than anything.
Can't wait to meet the newest Young addition!
