Man's best Friend (Winnie)

We have had our dog Winnie for the past 15 years. She has grown up with us and helped all of us through some hard times. After my dad passed away last year, she came back to live with us. It's been fun having her back in my life and my kids life again (Even if she did tear Carly's garden up to make her bed). Lately she has been getting weaker and weaker and today we had to put her down. I don't normally put animals on our blog, but she was a special dog and one of a kind. I'm not sure what I'm going to do now when I don't have Winnie following me around the house late at night. Snuggles can't be a substitute because he is to bed by 8pm(lazy).

Top 10 Winnie memories

1. She stayed by my dad's side at all times, even when he passed away. She wouldn't leave his side.
2. Camping with me and Brian and Winnie chased that dang skunk.
3. Winnie jumping in the river after a stick and almost got swept down current
4. Winnie was hit by a car and we found her at the pound with stitches all the way up her leg
5. Winnie digging up Carly's garden
6. She was always faithful and we sweet with everyone
7. She thought she was a inside dog.
8. She passed some bad gas..
9. She always protected us from everything and everyone
10. (My favorite) Going along with #3, she loved water. Anytime she saw water, she would always jump in. When we lived in Marrcrest, she would jump in the pond, catch a duck and bring it back to me. I would say, "winnie don't" and i would throw it back. She would go get that same poor duck and bring it back to me again like I was playing catch. She never killed them.

Thanks Winnie for being a special part of our lives!

I'll miss her licking Jocelyn's highchair, eating Boston's dinner, and those Farts..oh those farts!

I really will miss her. Seriously.

Oh, how I will miss Winnie! I still remember her as a puppy, so determined and stubborn, trying to jump to the top of those railroad ties in your yard. She would back up and in a triumphant bolt she would run and jump only to smack right in the middle of the stack. After about 20 tries, she finally cleared them, and I still remember the proud look on her little face. She was exactly what all of us needed for the past 15 years. I will miss her dearly...
