Curious George

So like his obsessive compulsive mother, Boston has become a bit crazed about a cute little monkey named George these days; or as Boston would say, Googe! Curious George comes on TV at 7am, 3pm and 5pm. and Boston usually watches all 3 episodes if we are home. He doesn't take his eyes off the show the entire time! Not to mention, it's the number one recorded program on our DVR!
When we past any toy section at the store Boston is out to spot Googe! He wants every Curious George off the shelf! I bought him the snuggle George where his face lights up and it's suppose to comfort children at night. ( I actually think it makes George look a little scarey!) Boston not only sleeps with Googe, he wants to take him everywhere and I am really wishing he was machine washable these days! He is so cute, always carrying him around and giving him MMMMMaaaaaaa's (kisses) through out the day. When he wakes up, you can't forget George in the crib, he has to get up too! He also loves to feed George, even making slurping sounds for George when he gives him a sip of his juice! (One time he tried to feed George at the wrong end though and we had to strighten out where our food goes in and to not confuse it with where it comes out!)
Boston also loves his Curious George jack 'n the box and a dumb little plastic George toy we bought him. It doesn't matter, as long as it's Googe! (I'll get JT to post pics ASAP, since George is in many pictures these days!)
Some of Boston's other obsessions these days are, Edemame! Believe it or not, my 17 month olds favorite food is soy beans! He whines at the freezer until I get them out and he can hardley wait for them to cool down when they get out of the microwave. I guess I won't complain about a snack that's super high in protein and is a decent source of the good fat.
You also can't say the word tub in front of Boston, or he heads straight for the bathroom! He loves his tubby so much that sometimes his sessions last almost an hour! He comes out wrinkly and as clean as a wistle and his splashing adventures usually leave Mom or Dad soaked, but he is so dang cute! He'd like to take Googe in the tub and has tried many times, but unfortunately his precious George isn't water proof, so Googe has to sit nearby and watch!

Hey Carly, It's Jamie, Whit's sister. Boston is getting so big! I can't believe it! He is such a cute little guy. I love that him and Holden are about the same age, how fun is that!! I noticed that you have videos up on your blog. How did you do it? I tried to upload one of Tay and it works on the preview page, but not on the actual blog. Did that ever happen to you? Any advice would be great...cause I am lost! Hope you guys had a Merry Christmas! Jamie
